Covievent, the organizer of carpooling - How does it work?

I wish to organize or promote the carpooling of my relatives, acquaintances or colleagues towards an event that I organize or that may interest them. Nothing's easier !

• I go to the CoviEvent home page and choose "Create my event".
• I enter the practical information about the event and my identity (name, title of event, description, address, illustration ...), then I validate my e-mail in order to receive confirmation of the creation of the event .
• I receive by e-mail a confirmation that contains two links:
  • I share the first link with my community which benefits from a private space dedicated to the organization of carpools. (I avoid communicating this link on public spaces to preserve the privative nature of this space)
  • I keep the second link (reserved for the organizer) to make changes to my event later if I wish.
• I also participate in the event? I set an example to my community and I use the privative space I have just communicated to him to add me as a driver or passenger (see below).

I received (by email or on my Facebook group) an invitation to carpool to an event. I would like to propose the free spaces of my vehicle to my community!

• I follow the link that has been communicated to me and I access a private space dedicated to the organization of carpooling with the other members of my community.
• (Optional) I start by filtering only the carpools that leave my city (I might not need to take my car finally!)
• I select "Add a conductor"
• I enter the practical information about my departure (dates, times, place of departure, number of places offered, price per person, practical descriptions for meeting ...)
• I indicate my e-mail address in order to be informed of new passenger registrations, and so that they can contact me.

I received (by email or on my Facebook group) an invitation to carpool to an event. I do not have a vehicle. I am looking for a driver from my community who goes to the same event as me!

• I follow the link that has been communicated to me and I access a private space dedicated to the organization of carpooling with the other members of my community.
• (Optional) I start by selecting my starting city from the list, then ...
• "There is no vehicle available in my city of departure, I publish my request"
  
  • I select "Add a passenger"
  • I enter the practical information about my departure (date, time and place of departure desired)
  • (Optional) I can indicate my e-mail address in order to be notified of any changes (when a driver accepts to take me for example).
  • I am now registered as a "Driverless passenger leaving ..." the city I entered, and I am waiting for a driver.
• "There are vehicles available in my departure city, and I want to add myself to it"
  
  • If I have already declared myself as a "passenger without a driver" (right column), I can drag/drop myself into the car that interests me (it must have at least one space available)
  • If I have not yet declared myself, I add directly myself to a free square (pictogram 'profile' preceded by a '+'). At least my name and phone number.
  • (Optional) I can indicate my e-mail address in order to be notified of any changes (if the driver cancels the carpool, for example)
